Peel carrots and cut them into little "match stick" strips about 30cm long and 4cm wide or planks 10 cm wide and 2 cm deep. Or use any uniform size you like.
Put them in a covered oven proof container, I like pyrex casserols. Bake in the oven about 350 for about 45 minutes to an hour, time will vary a little based on the quantity you're cooking and how small you cut them.
You don't need to add anything, just put them in a pretty bowl.
