• 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/4 vinegar
  • 1/2 cup olive, canola, or vegetable oil

I usually mix in a measuring cup or a jar, and add the salt vinegar and oil in that order.

Add a table spoon of dijon mustard or garlic, and some pepper or finely chopped shallots, green onion, chives or other onion. Onion flakes, oregano, celery salt area also popular. Use a flavorful oil like extra virgin olive oil, or a light oil like Canola or sunflower.
